It's truly sublime. It's hard to fathom that every thing in the solar system that isn't a part of the sun accounts for less than 1% of the mass in the solar system and the other 99.86% IS the sun. It's hard to fathom that this beautiful solar flare, if it were allowed near us at its release, would render the earth and everything on it into an insignificant puff of vapor. And after all this.
